The Jacksons | Birmingham Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of shooting a very beautiful wedding on last month. The bride, Gajarah, and I grew up together and I've always looked at her like a little sister. It was kind of weird seeing her all grown up and married. Everything was so beautiful and perfect.

The reception was so much fun. The DJs, Mind Kontrol DJz, kept the crowd dancing nonstop! And the groom was a dancing machine! Here are a few images from their big day!

The Sensational Six | Birmingham Family Photographer

After trying for the last 3 to 4 years, I was FINALLY able to get the sensational six together for a photo. Normally, I miss 3 of the six because I'm either getting to my grandmother's too late, or they didn't come for the holidays. But not this year! It wasn't the easiest shoot. First, we were stuck in traffic forever! Therefore, we lost some very valuable light, which led me to shoot at a higher ISO, which I hate! I see the grain, ugh! Then, they are so silly. While it was fun to see them laugh and love each other so much, umm kiddies, we're loosing light. Then, my silly sister accompanied me, and at one point became the "director"; not. But all in all, it was fun. There are actually a lot more nieces and nephews, these are the six on my maternal side of the family. I wonder how hard it would be to get the paternal side? Hmmm. Until then, here are a few of my favs! Enjoy.

I'm so happy I caught them being silly. Well, except Tyrique. Who told him he was a model? LOL

A'Kiya | Birmingham Holiday Photographer

I had the most fun with A'Kiya yesterday. Talk about adorable! She's everything little girls are made of; you know, sugar and spice and everything nice. She was so easy to work with and not only does she love the camera, but the camera loves her! Here are a few photos from our session.

Edward and Gajarah | Engagement Sneak Peak

I knew my session today would be lots of fun. I've known Gajarah since she was very, very young and she's always had an upbeat, lovable personality (a little aggravating when we were younger). {smile} It's hard to believe she's all grown up and starting a new life with her high school sweetheart and their daughter.
