when i heard rain was in the forecast, i was a bit disappointed. not because the rain would ruin the day, that would be impossible, but because i had so many great ideas for shooting at this fabulous location. but it rained, it poured, we moved on. but the beautiful bride, handsome groom, love, and laughter made us completely forget the weather outside. carla and maceo are just perfect. their love clearly shows in the way they look at each other. congratulations to you both and welcome to the family maceo! here are a few images from their day.
yesterday was a bit of an emotional roller coaster. a funeral of a very close loved one earlier that day and then later the wedding of a beautiful union. the wedding was truly the best pick me up. michael and shemekia have a connection that's very profound and screams with love. the rain stayed away for nearly most of the afternoon and we were blessed with beautiful light. the reception was full of surprises that included a special dance for him and a new car for her. michael and shemekia, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your day, your moments, and your memories. may God continue to bless you!
I was too excited about receiving the Nikon 85mm 1.8G that I immediately had test it out. Thankfully, JoJo was ready, willing, and able to be my subject. We only shot a few images and I'm posting two to share. I will say that I absolutely LOVE this lens. It's definitely a keeper!
A few months ago, I photographed Quintoria's maternity session. Last week, Aiden made his appearance and he is the most beautiful ever! It was such a joy to photograph him as he was the perfect baby. Here are a few images from our session.
