the bunkley family | birmingham, al

when rokeya contacted me and stated that she wanted photos of her and the kids while they were visiting birmingham, i was super excited. jakeya and jaylin have such big personalities so i knew that capturing them would be more than fun. and fun it was. the weather started out cold and rainy but by the time we got started the rain stopped and we were left with the best light! thanks rokeya and family for being such troopers in the cold! here's a few images from our day!

troy d | birmingham fall session

troy d showed up ready to go and he didn't let the weather bother him at all. personally, fall images are some of my favorites as i love the browns, reds, oranges, and greens and the way they compliment each other. i appreciate san (high school friend and college roommate) for always keeping me in mind when its time for new images. troy kept us entertained and he was the perfect kid. he's not camera shy and having fun is what he's all about. but don't take my word, see for yourself!

princess + malachi | birmingham

it's been a while since my last post. so much has been going on keeping me busy, busy, busy. but i knew that should get something up soon. i held a session with princess and malachi earlier this summer and these two a super cute together. they are more like brother and sister than they are cousins. while princess is no stranger to my camera this was my first session with malachi. it didn't take him much time at all to warm up to the camera. all it took was a little space to run around and be himself. check them out!

what better way to wish you all a happy mother's day other than to share this little dancer. "a" is such a beautiful girl; made of everything little girls are made of, sugar and spice and everything nice and a tab bit of shyness. from tap, to jazz, to ballet, "a" has it all down packed. thanks "t" and "m" for sharing this beautiful girl!
