bridget | laughing through her pain

what do you get when you combine a big heart, fun spirit, huge personality, and a fighter? bridget! she has a story of hope, determination, and perseverance! bridget was diagnosed with lupus later in life and she faced obstacles that some could not imagine. but through it all, she has continued to smile, she never gave up, and she has laughed through her pain! and...she recently received news that she is in remission!!! when bridget contacted me about doing her session and shared with me her vision, i knew just the location to fit her personality. we had a great time! she came dressed in her super cute tutu and purple God truly places people in our lives for a reason. i've known bridget since high school, i follow her on instagram and facebook and although i knew her situation, i didn't know her story. thank you bridget for including me on such an important part of your journey. you inspire me in so many ways. i thank God for allowing our paths to cross. continue to fight!

when rokeya contacted me and stated that she wanted photos of her and the kids while they were visiting birmingham, i was super excited. jakeya and jaylin have such big personalities so i knew that capturing them would be more than fun. and fun it was. the weather started out cold and rainy but by the time we got started the rain stopped and we were left with the best light! thanks rokeya and family for being such troopers in the cold! here's a few images from our day!
