Roderick and Greta | Birmingham Engagement Photographer

I absolutely love this time of the year. It seems like love in just in the air. Last Saturday I had an engagement session with Roderick and Greta. Love was all over the place. I'm really excited about shooting their nuptials in August. Here's a quick peek of Saturday's session. I'll share the others really soon.

Full of Life and Love | Birmingham, AL

I came across some photos from a session a short while back that I've never shared. Tanisha and Joe were such a great couple to work with. They were very natural and so full of life and love. Here are few images from their session.

Happy Fourth!

I didn't get out to any barbecues, parades, or firework shows this today. But, I did find some old photos from the July 4th parade in Atlanta 2007. These were made with a point and shoot camera but turned out very well, especially after a few edits. I hope your holiday was great. Enjoy.

Au Nappturale | Birmingham, AL

A friend of mine has been transitioning back to her natural hair for almost a year now. She decided this past weekend that she was ready to big chop. She called me and asked if I'll help and of course I did. I'm actually on my 2nd journey of nappturalism. Of course I took my camera but since I was busy chopping, I didn't make any photos of the process. I was, however, ready afterwards. Her son and I also had a little fun while she styled her hair. Here are a few images to share.
